THE M&G HOUND COLLECTION

A comfortable fit, every day.

Find the right collar size with a simple measurement and a little advice from our workshop.

Go straight to the size chart ↓

We recommend a comfortable fitting measurement between 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the smallest measurement and 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the largest measurement in the stated range. Avoid fitting right at the smallest setting where possible, as this leaves a longer collar tip that can get in the way.

01 / MEASURE

Start with their neck measurement

Measure around your dog’s neck where the collar will sit, allowing enough room for a comfortable fit. Check the measurement against the collar’s stated adjustment range.

Example adjustment range: 12–16 inches

03 / FIND THE SIZE

Find their size

Use measurements rather than breed alone. Medium and Medium Wide fit the same neck range; Medium Wide has a wider strap.

Comfort comes first

The one-inch recommendation helps keep the collar tip neat. Always allow a comfortable fit, and never tighten a collar simply to fit a particular size. If you are between ranges, ask us for advice.
