We're a growing business... want to join us?

Production Trainee

We're looking for someone to join us in the workshop.

About us:

We're a young growing brand, specialising in leather accessories inspired by the British countryside and Equestrian heritage.

We use a combination of traditional saddlery, vintage couture, and modern technology to create our designs, and our products are renowned for their detail and high level of quality.

You'll be joining us at an exciting period of growth in the company, so this is an excellent time to get on board a rural brand destined for a bright future.

About you:

You have exceptional attention to detail, and always strive to improve yourself and your work.  Perhaps you've had an interest in woodwork, DIY or craft projects previously.  You are willing to learn, a great listener, and if you make a mistake you try again until it is right.  You have an appreciation of beautiful, natural materials, and honest craftwork. You're comfortable with machinery and a tape measure.

Most importantly, you have a desire to be part of something exciting, in a small, friendly and supportive team for the long term - right here in North Shropshire.

No experience necessary - we provide full training of our unique way of making luxury leather goods.

About the role:

It is a hard one to explain as it is probably unlike any other job out there.   Each day will be different, as you'll be part of taking each product through every process, seeing it go from scratch to finished. One day it may be cutting skins of leather, the next you'll be rounding, skiving, inking and buffing. Then measuring, stamping, riveting, and stitching  - and that's just to start! Each piece has more processes to it than you'd think, to achieve the level of quality our customers have come to know us for.
